NIGHT OF FIRE

Pensé Productions and three time Emmy nominated screenwriter John Pielmeier are developing Night of Fire, a mini-series based on modern characters inspired by the lives of René Descartes and Blaise Pascal.

Set in a nanotechnology research project, the young genius Pascal must prevent the elder Descartes from starting a process with unintended consequences that could destroy humanity.

Pielmeier began his career with the play and movie Agnes of God. He has had 25 film, television movies, and miniseries produced including The Pillars of the Earth and is currently prepping his stage adaptation of The Exorcist for Broadway. His Choices of the Heart received the Humanitas Award for film and television writing intended to promote human dignity, meaning, and freedom.
