BREEDERS
Pensé Productions has attached Kurt Voelker to direct the feature film Breeders, a comedy about traditional marriage set in the beautiful and farcical world of thoroughbred horse breeding.
Voelker graduated from Harvard and went to film school at USC, where he wrote and directed the award-winning comedy Decade of Love that launched his career in Hollywood. He has written feature screenplays for Warner Bros., Disney, Fox, Sony, Paramount, MTV, and ABC Family. His work includes the Warner Bros release Sweet November starring Charlize Theron and Rock Dog with Luke Wilson and Lewis Black. He most recently wrote and directed The Whole New Everything featuring JK Simmons.
Breeders is an original screenplay cowritten by award winning writer/producer Barnet Bain (What Dreams May Come, Milton's Secret) and Scott Sander.
