Colin Sander - Director & Cinematographer

Colin Sander is an experienced Film & Video Director, Cinematographer, Photographer, & Digital Content Creator, committed to telling authentic stories in media for Artists, Athletes, Brands, & Businesses. Colin is a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where he directed 20+ narrative films, documentaries, comedies, & dramas. His online video-content has amassed millions of views.

He Co-Wrote & Directed ‘Dean Slater: Resident Advisor’ for Pensé Productions. Colin shot and directed the feature-length documentary ‘Only God Could Hear Me’, with proceeds benefiting organizations that help the speaking-impaired. Colin shot & directed the Documentary Film ‘Las Encantadas’ about Tortoise-research in the Galapagos Islands. He worked as production-assistant to Academy Award winning director Paul Haggis on ‘The Next Three Days’ starring Russell Crowe.

Colin has directed music-videos for emerging artists, commercials & social-content for major brands and events, and is well-versed in shooting in remote & challenging wilderness locations. Colin is an experienced Ski-Mountaineer and Alpine Rock climber, and shot an entire short film on Denali- North America’s highest peak while summiting the mountain solo. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Tori.
